The Denglas® range by Denton Vacuum, New Jersey, USA

Glass & Mirror have been UK Distributors for Denton for more than 18 years and our hundreds of regular customers are evidence of the performance and quality of their products; however it is with regret that we must advise that Denton ceased trading on 30th April 2006. But don’t panic as Glass & Mirror comes to the rescue, see below for more information.

Denglas was produced by Denton under license from SCHOTT Germany. Glass & Mirror have been distributing SCHOTT products since 2004, focusing mainly upon their very high quality laminates, which are specified for original images displayed by renowned establishments such as The Tate, The National Portrait Gallery, The Royal Academy of Art and the National Maritime Museum and many more.

SCHOTT however do produce other products, which are also distributed by Glass & Mirror. These include their Mirogard WaterWhite AR (anti-reflective) coated glass, which is described as being ‘virtually identical to that of Denglas’. We would however stress that to the untrained individual it is almost impossible to distinguish between these two products, however should two framed images be placed next to each other, there will be some variation within the reflectance colour. Denglas has been described as ‘green’, whilst SCHOTT describe their product as ‘aqua-blue’.

SCHOTT Mirogard WaterWhite AR is available from stock in loose sheets, packs or cut to size.
