The MIROGARD® range from SCHOTT

The MIROGARD® range of glasses are
completely transparent special glasses with anti reflective
coatings (AR) on both surfaces. Because they are absolutely
colour neutral and reduce reflections to less than 1%
- when viewed in a normal way - MIROGARD® glass
is as good as invisible. MIROGARD® glass is widely
used by leading museums and galleries around the World.
MIROGARD® Waterwhite AR 2mm, 3mm & 4mm
A waterwhite glass with AR coatings on both surfaces.
Used for picture framing where colour reproduction and
clarity of image is of utmost importance. All MIROGARD®
glasses can be used any distance off the artwork without
image distortion - perfect for box frames etc.

MIROGARD® Plus - Waterwhite AR
2mm with enhanced UV filtration
With all the properties of MIROGARD® glass plus
enhanced UV filtration - MIROGARD® Plus filters
84% UV light in the 300-380nm spectrum. Used for picture
framing where clarity is required but damage by UV light
is an additional concern.

MIROGARD®
Protect - Laminated Waterwhite AR 4.4mm
A waterwhite laminated safety glass comprising of one
layer of tough UV filtering plastic sandwiched between
two layers of waterwhite glass with AR coatings. The
result is a virtually invisible glass filtering 99%
of harmful UV light in the 300-380nm spectrum which
also protects the artwork and the public from damage
caused by splintering glass due to vandalism or accidental
damage. Widely used by museums to protect original artwork
of high value. Available in large panel sizes to special
order.
